After years of experimenting with sugar-free chiffon cakes, I am happy to share with you a version that tastes great AND has prebiotic soluble fibres added to lower the overall GI (Glycemic Index) of the cake even more! Flour and sometimes the liquid used in chiffon cakes contribute to the GI of the cake so using soluble fibres helps to reduce the effect of these ingredients on blood sugar levels, as well as bring benefits to gut health and cholesterol management, which can't be achieved by simply using sugar replacements. I will also show you how to create a simple cat design which adds a cute factor without much more work.
